How can I get miles at Avis?
Just quote your Miles & More number at time of reservation or when you pick up your car. Miles & More will award you miles within 6-8 weeks if your rental is qualifying.
If you forget to quote Miles & More number at time of reservation or when you pick up your car, you can claim for your miles retroactively. Just fill in the required information in our online retro claim form, which you will find here.
How many miles am I awarded for an Avis rental?
You get 500 award miles in every qualifying Avis rental (HON Circle Members get 1.000).
Can I also collect status miles on Avis rentals?

Do I get on every Avis rental?
You only get miles on qualifying rentals. No miles will be awarded on redemption rates, travel industry and tour operator rates, replacement cars, van rentals and chauffeur drive. If you pick up and return several cars to the same Avis location within 24 hours, they will be considered as one qualifying rental. In case of long-term rentals you get miles only once for the whole long-term period.
Are there any requirements to become a Miles & More member an to collect miles?

Do I get Miles & More award miles and miles/point for other loyalty programmes at the same time when I rent with Avis?
No, you get only miles/point for one single loyalty programme each time you rent an Avis car.
Do I get miles on Avis cars which are rented by my spouse, relatives or friends?
No, the name of the renter (shown in the rental agreement) and the name of the Miles & More member must be identical.

I have claimed retroactively for my miles but did not get the, yet. How long does it take to get them awarded to my account?
It takes 6 - 8 weeks to award the miles.
Is it possible to store a profile at Avis where I can integrate my Miles & More number so that I do not have to quote it again and again?
Yes, you can become an Avis Preferred member and integrate you Miles & More number in this member profile. You will get an individual Wizard number. If you quote this number at you next reservation, all stored information is automatically integrated into your booking. You will get an Avis Preferred enrolment form at every Avis rental station or do it online .
As a Miles & More member, do I also get special rates/discounts apart from miles?
Yes, Miles & More members get special rates and discounts according to the status and type of card, when quoting the dedicated AWD at time of reservation. You will always get the best available rate at time of your quote.

How can I make a reservation with miles? Is these any special information required?
If you want to redeem your miles for an Avis car, please contact Miles & More by visiting www.miles-and-more.com or calling 01805-5959 (0,14 Euro/Min German landline, mobile phone may vary) Just quote the award you want to redeem your miles for and your Miles & More number. Pre-booking restriction: 3 days.
Miles & More will make the reservation for you and send you a rent a car voucher. Please show this voucher together with your drivess licence and credit card at the station when you pick up your car.
Can I also redeem my miles for other rental lengths than offered by Miles & More?
No, you can only get vouchers for weekend or 7-day rentals. You might combine vouchers after the agreement of the station. You will find a list of our worldwide locations including phone numbers in the column "Stationen" on www.avis.de.
Can my spouse, relatives and friends use my miles to get an Avis car?
No, because the reservation is made automatically to the name of the Miles & More member. The name of the renter and the name of the Miles & More member on the voucher must be identically.
